Abstract

This study examines community conflict and organizational effectiveness at Okpella Cement Plc. A descriptive survey research technique was used, with a sample size of 186 business employees. The questionnaire data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, and the Pearson product-moment coefficient of correlation was used to determine the level of effectiveness between community conflict and organizational effectiveness.

However, the findings of this study revealed a statistically significant negative correlation between crime rates and revenue growth (r = -0.480, p < 0.01) at Okpella Cement Plc. Also, it found a statistically significant positive correlation between economic inequality and profitability (r = 0.510, p < 0.01) at Okpella Cement Plc. Based on the findings, the research advised that Okpella Cement Plc management must adopt proactive conflict-sensitive approaches to maintain revenue stability, enhance profitability, and improve long-term organizational performance.
